About Eros MD
What is Eros MD?
Eros MD is a physician-guided telemedicine platform for men's and women's vitality medicine, covering sexual health, weight loss, hair restoration, and hormone optimization. Every plan is built by a licensed physician who evaluates your full health picture, not by an algorithm.
How is Eros MD different from other telehealth platforms?
Three things: physician review of every intake (not auto-approval), root-cause clinical evaluation rather than symptom-only prescribing, and ongoing provider access built into the plan. Our physicians are board-certified and licensed in the states they practice in.
Are the physicians real?
Yes. Every treatment plan at Eros MD is reviewed and approved by a licensed, board-certified physician. We do not use algorithm-based approvals, nurse practitioner proxies for physician work, or automated systems for prescribing decisions.
Starting Care
How do I start?
Begin at our assessment at /start. You complete a confidential intake (5 to 15 minutes depending on the program), a licensed physician reviews it personally, and if treatment is appropriate you receive a plan tailored to your labs, history, and goals.
Do I need labs?
Depends on the program. Hormone therapy (TRT, HRT) requires baseline labs. GLP-1 weight loss may require screening labs depending on your history. ED, PE, and hair loss programs typically do not require labs unless your provider identifies a specific clinical reason. Where labs are needed, we order them through your local lab network.
Do I need to come in for a physical exam?
Not typically. Most conditions we treat can be fully assessed via online intake and, where appropriate, lab work. Your provider will identify if an in-person visit is required for your specific situation.
Which states do you operate in?
Eros MD operates in all 50 US states. Your treating physician will be licensed in your state of residence.
Medications and Pharmacies
Where do the medications come from?
Every medication is dispensed by a licensed US pharmacy. For FDA-approved medications, we use standard retail pharmacies. For compounded formulations (including compounded GLP-1 medications and compounded topicals), we partner with licensed 503A and 503B compounding pharmacies with appropriate regulatory oversight.
Is the medication generic or brand?
Most prescriptions are generic (sildenafil instead of Viagra, tadalafil instead of Cialis, finasteride instead of Propecia). Generic medications contain the same active ingredient at the same bioequivalent standards as brand-name versions, at a significantly lower cost.
What if my medication causes side effects?
Contact your provider through the patient portal. Options include dose adjustment, switching to a different medication, or (where clinically appropriate) adding a supportive medication. Ongoing provider access is built into every plan.
Privacy, Shipping, and Billing
How discreet is the process?
Completely discreet by default. Medications arrive in plain, unmarked packaging with no indication of contents. Billing descriptors are neutral and do not identify the nature of your care. Communications are HIPAA-protected.
How fast is shipping?
Most medications ship within 1 to 3 business days of provider approval and arrive within 3 to 7 business days total. Compounded medications may take slightly longer due to formulation time.
Do you accept insurance?
Eros MD does not bill insurance. Care is provided at transparent cash-pay prices you see before committing. HSA/FSA cards are accepted, and you can request receipts for reimbursement submission to your insurer if applicable.
What are my privacy rights?
Your rights under HIPAA, state privacy laws, and Eros MD's own Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice include access, correction, and (where permitted by retention rules) deletion. See our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice for details.
Cancellation, Refunds, and Returns
Can I cancel my plan?
Yes. Plans can be canceled at any time through your patient portal. You will not be charged for future cycles once your cancellation is processed. Any shipment already in transit will still arrive.
Do you offer refunds?
For safety and regulatory reasons, dispensed medications generally cannot be returned for a refund once shipped. See our Returns and Refunds page for specific circumstances where refunds are available.
What if I want to change medications or dose?
Your provider can adjust the plan at any time. Reach out through the patient portal and your physician will evaluate the request and update your prescription accordingly.
